Sorry Chris! I might have gotten a little carried away when I said you had a bad marriage. Sorry about that! :)

I absolutely love it when a Bitmob contributor joins the podcast. I would like to hear Andrew Hiscock or Omar Yusuf or perhaps Jasmine Maleficent Rea for the female touch. I would suggest myself, but there is not way I can sober up for a whole hour. :P

Lance you would have to be sober for the hour before and the hour during the podcast and if you need a drinking podcast let me know. 8)

Well, by saying I cannot sober I meant "high" not "drunk", but I would still love to check out a drinking podcast! :D

The quiz game Shoe was talking about is called Quiz Dragons. I played it, and it was awesome. I honestly think it would be a great game to remake given the popularity of bar trivia nights.

Correction: the quiz game is called Quiz & Dragons (according to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/index.html?curid=8246878).

I did notice something I normally listen to you all when i grill. Last night was no exception as I had ribs from the grill. So one of two things are happening I am grilling a lot or listening to the same episodes over and over again. :)

OUCH! I would like to clarify and say that that I never actually wrote allowed in my email, although I guess it was implied. I am going to PAX this year, and if the next GTA comes out in the middle of the year I am picking it up no matter what. So its not like its martial law on video games at my house, birthdays and holidays are just guidelines. I would definitely love to here more on the subject though. I don't think video games have the lobbying power behind them that the movie industry does, so I am would think there cut on rentals is less. I still really enjoyed the discussion, I was laughing the entire time. @Aaron its no problem, you just don't get a glass when I buy a round for the staff at the next meet up. :P

Wow Shoe, I guess I am old. Memories flooded back when you mentioned Phoenix. I played it in the arcade and I believe I also had it on my Apple IIe. I played that game so much, but had totally forgot about it until you mentioned it.

i love mooncresta aka phoenix! that was the most high tech game during it's time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXQO0ibclm4 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_Cresta

Oh man, I played so much Quiz & Dragons at Pinball Pete's. The worst part is when you get a geography question wrong because the game is old enough that the countries it's asking about don't exist anymore. I think it might still be at the current Pete's, buried in the back behind 2 dozen DDR machines and Art Truck.

Shoe: They've got Phoenix at the Musee Mecanique! I took a picture of it -- the cabinet art is out of this world. Greg: Warlords is still an awesome game even if you discovered it at CA Extreme. That's how I found it, too.

I loved this one! I didn't have a problem with the "5 guy, 5 topics" format, but this new "4 guys..." format worked just as well. The best quote of the podcast: "Exclusive reveal of the moving banana" -Demian Linn, 44:40, talking about when Ms. Pac-man adding moving fruit In general, I think Demian is one of the funniest on the podcast, even though he's a bit soft-spoken. But when he does say something, it's worth the wait. Sometimes his audio levels are a bit too low though, so most people probably miss some of his comments and responses. @Shoe: I definitely remember Phoenix in the arcade, even though I'm like 10 years younger than you. My arcade had a machine, and I loved it. I didn't think anybody except me practically played it. And when my aunt cleaned out her basement, I played Phoenix on her Atari. That was my first introduction to game actually. @GregFood: Being a longtime Sports Anomaly fan, I was extremely disappointed when you did not mention a Marathon Running game in the sports video games segment. Somewhere in the world, the Fragile Eagle is tearing up at this awful news. I don't know if his dream game will ever be made... And yes, I did put "GregFood" on purpose. I did not forget the "r"; it was a conscience decision.

I Really enjoy listening to the podcast. It does not matter which format you decide to use, as long as the concept remains the same. @Shoe: Phoenix was the Bomb. It did not look better Galaga, but it was a better game. I think it was the first game I played with a boss battle. Do you remember Berserk? I do not here too much about that game either. Anyway, continue the great work.

I loved Phoenix! It was in the candy store/arcade down the street from my uncle's place, and whenever we visited, I'd spend an insane amount of time playing it. The only other place I remember playing it was the arcade at either Great America or Disneyland.

@Shoe: I don't recall having Centuri Pheonix in my local arcade when I was growing up (which was in Traverse City, MI at Bally's Alladin's Castle) however my friend Jeff Kinder (of the Dragon's Lair Project) has Phoenix in his basement arcade, which I usually give it a try when I'm over.. and i suck at it. He also has Pleiads (another Centuri game of that timeframe) next to Phoenix. Jeff's basement arcade buildup is chronicled here: http://www.dragons-lair-project.com/users/jeff/basement/current/ With Phoenix and Pleiads here: http://www.dragons-lair-project.com/users/jeff/basement/current/images/86.jpg Keep the arcades alive. \m/
