It's a reunion of former GameSpot editors on this week's Mobcast. Bitmob's Aaron Thomas is joined by 2k Games' Greg Kasavin, Giant Bomb's Brad Shoemaker, and Jason Ocampo, who may or may-not reveal his new gig during the show.

The foursome discuss holiday memories, the decade's top-gaming moments, 2009's biggest trends, deadline writing, and the place of social games in the hierarchy of gaming.

For more on Spec Ops: The Line, visit the game's official website. Hit up YouTube to hear YG12's Mafia Wars song and Buckner & Garcia's "Pac-Man Fever".

Have I gone absolutely loony or did I hear "Zombie on Your Lawn" when Plants vs. Zombies was being mentioned?

@Kevin -- Well, it's either that we've both gone loony (I heard it, too), or Aaron put in there for the similarities they share (they both have zombies and lawns in 'em, after all), or something like that. Both are pretty probable, so it could go either way.

Great show! It was good to hear the old Gamespot crew together again.

Great discussion this week... One thing that is a little off-putting is the frequent "bumper music" between each topic and in some cases individual responses to a topic. It really kills the flow of the conversation and sometimes makes it difficult to hear a guest finish their point with the background music fading in. Unlike other 'casts (GiantBombcast, 4guys1up, Rebel FM, etc...) IMO this award winning format is at its best when the conversation is free flowing and the topic transitions occur naturally.
