Press Pause: Crimson Alliance, Zoom for Kinect, and other peripherals

We've discussed Torchlight (woo!) and Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale (not-so-woo) on Press Pause in the past, so what are our thoughts on Xbox Live Arcade's newest 2D fantasy romp, Crimson Alliance? Bet yer dying to find out, huh? Host Carlos Rodela and I talk it out on this week's show, so give it a watch.

We also review some interesting new peripherals, including Nyko's Zoom (which is supposed to make the Kinect more friendly for cramped gaming spaces like my tiny studio), Scuf Gaming's built-for-pro-gamers controllers, and KontrolFreek's analog-stick extensions.

This was right on time for me.  I was wondering if I should pick up Crimson Alliance's "paid" mode.  Good look!

Can you use two analog-stick extensions (one on top of the other) at the same time? That's what everyone wants to know.

Haha, I just tried but you can't. The new pad is larger than the old one, and the attachment only fits on top of the old-sized pads.

Wow, I need that Zoom peripheral. Thanks Hsu!

I hear other people may have problems with it, so there's no guarantees it'll work for you. I can only say it worked extremely well for me! :)
