Woh-ho-ha! It’s Waluigi!
When I’m not defending my title of greatest sportsman in the Mushroom Kingdom, I’m at my home training for the next event. Even after training I’m still honing my body with acupuncture and my cooler of vitaminwater. When that's done, I read Bitmob and laugh at each and every one of you.
So was I ever surprised when I read an article for the Know Your Role writing challenge about my greatness. Finally I get respect from the media! Those haters are always jealous of Waluigi. But guess what? I paid my dues. I’m the guy in all the games. Waluigi is number one! You don’t see any dolls of Andrew Hiscock around, do you?
Normally I detest these writing prompts. I figured the creator was going to drop 800 words about which Street Fighter he wants to make out with, but he wrote an article on Waluigi instead. Everything’s different now!
Now that I got mine, I’ll spread the wealth. Here are the rules:
1. Write a 500-800 word article on a character's design and role in a game, examining everything from appearance to movements to its role in the story. You can write it about cool guys like Shadow The Hedgehog or on stupid popular types like Master Chief and Gannondorf. If you want, you can even write about my favorite creature in the kingdom, Hootie the Blue Fish. Or you can write about me again.
2. Include “Know Your Role” in the title and tags so that it'll appear in the site's search engine.
3. Post the story by June 30 at midnight PST.
The example extolling my amazingness is right here. There are also others who already submitted their articles here. There's less than a week left until the challenge is over, so hurry up!
This writing challenge is now closed.
