Review to come.

Today's forecast 96 degree's with a 0% chance of good games. This has been the forecast for the summer months for a long while and this one is no different. But finding yourself without anything new to play isn't a bad thing necessarily. I'm taking this chance to play through some of my favorite PS2 rpg's as the ravages of time have taken their toll on their memory. Mainly iv'e been playing Final Fantasy XII, and after about the 18th hour, I can sit easy remembering on why I claim this to be one of my favorite RPG's of the generation.

Thoughts thus far:

The active battle system is amazing, it really speeds up the combat and makes boss battles more difficult adding more micro management. The gambit system is also a useful tool in dispatching the games numerous types of enemies. I find myself using it more and more than I did 4 years ago, after playing Dragon Age. The character leveling is also addicting gaining LP's and using them to upgrade my character. The scale of the game is something to marvel at, being from the last generation it still is one of the largest games to date on consoles. The environments are varied from jungle to desert this game is still eye popping.

Closing:

Hopefully if all goes according to plan I will write up a review when I finish this RPG masterpiece, I recommend that anybody wishing to play games of the last generation to pick this up and many other games at Estarland.com they have low prices and complete new and used Retro games.

Welcome to Bitmob, Chris!

I just checked that Estarland website and I don't see how the prices are any better there than on Ebay. Am I missing something?
