This community loves to review games. I love to collect those reviews. I'm like a parasite feeding off of their creativity and good writing skills.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet Review (X360) -- inviting, tedious, short, and pricey
By Tristan Damen
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is certainly pretty looking, and I'm always down for a metroidvania game. Sadly -- despite the title's obvious charms -- Tristan found a few annoying flaws in this Summer of Arcade offering.
Groove Coaster Review
By Daniel Sims
Simplicity is king. At least that's the point that Daniel makes in his review of Groove Coaster, a rhythm game for the iOS platform. Considering the low, 99-cent price tag, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to give this stylish-looking app a try after reading Daniel's enthusiastic write-up.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Review -- revisiting a classic
By Patrick O'Rourke
Are you a Zelda fan still on the fence about purchasing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D? Hopefully, Patrick will be able to persuade you to pick up your sword and shield for another romp through the dungeons of Hyrule.
Red Faction Armageddon Review (X360) -- of mice and men...and monsters and magnet guns
By Tristan Damen
Does blowing stuff up ever get old? I would argue not, though that may just be a byproduct of my explosive personality (man, I am hilarious). Tristan had plenty of fun destroying terrain and buildings in Red Faction: Armageddon even if he had a hard time remembering any of the character's names while playing this third-person shooter.
Fruit Ninja Kinect Review (X360) -- you'll want a table for your back
By Tristan Damen
Tristan continues his series of reviews on the Summer of Arcade games with Fruit Ninja Kinect, a title I think I'm more likely to hurt myself playing than enjoying. Still, just like blowing things up, slicing stuff can also be infinitely entertaining.
