It's been 8 years in the making but it's finally here. The team of a little over 20 has taken it's time remaking Streets of Rage into one beautiful beat 'em up. I first read about this remake a year ago in Retro Gamer and I've been following it ever since. Not only do you get the bare knuckle gameplay from the original games but now there are tons of new areas, features, and story bits to entice long time fans to walk the streets once again. I've bought Streets of Rage in almost every possible way Sega has whored the franchise out and I've always felt a bit guilty. With Streets of Rage Remake, I finally feel like I have a good reason to come back. Oh, did I mention it's free for the PC? Check it out.
