Mobcast 54: CO-OP on Co-op

Area 5's Cesar Quintero and Ryan O'Donnell join Bitmob's Demian Linn and Brett Bates for a special episode of the Mobcast all about co-op gaming. The group discusses which games are only fun in co-op, which famous person they would like to buddy up with for some classic NES-style two-player fun, the future of single-screen collaborative titles, new ideas for in-game teamwork mechanics, and their favorite co-op memories. I love the podcast guys!

But I have a quick request. For some reason the genre of the last few podcasts in the mp3 tag was "other" instead of "podcast" like the rest of them, and it kind of messes with my mp3 organization. I'm sure I'm not alone. If you could make the genre "podcast" in the future, like before, that would be awesome!

@Colby: Hm, that may be an issue from Libsyn switching over to a new system. The podcasts are still marked "podcast" on there, just like the old episodes, so I'm not sure what's up. We'll look into it.

Guys, I'm a teenager and I was instantly able to recognize Battletoads, Sunset Riders, and Turtles in Time. You old farts are getting rusty.

Just FYI guys, I don't remember who claimed otherwise, but Modern Warfare 2 most definitely has local split-screen competitive and co-op gameplay!  I've played plenty of 4-player deathmatch and even Spec Ops on the couch with a friend sitting next to me :-)
