Video Blips: Rage, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Driver: San Francisco, and more

I was a bit indifferent about Rage during E3, even though I had the chance to play it. I’m not going to kid myself...I’ll probably buy it anyway. Whether or not I’ll actually finish it is another story.

Video Blips:

• Like every id Software game before it, Rage puts a lot of emphasis on the weapons. It’s hard to believe, but throwing a bladed boomerang into an enemy’s face is incredibly satisfying.

After the break, see the return of Simon Belmont in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, cruise around the Bay Area like Bullit in Driver: San Francisco, and watch things bleed pixels in They Bleed Pixels.

• It’s nice to see Konami able to get this series back on its feet with games like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I’ll shamefully admit: I’ve never played a Castlevania game (bring on the hate mail). Perhaps titles like this one will help me end the curse.

• I like how this trailer for Driver: San Francisco reminds me of an old '70s cop drama. I wonder if you take orders from some old, grizzled veteran of a sergeant...who drinks on the job.

• I actually sort of like the simplistic look of They Bleed Pixels. I think it adds emphasis to the fact that enemies leak copious amounts of DNA whenever you attack them.

Yeah, isn't this just an old proof of concept video?

It iS good to know that Lords of Shadow is coming out. A year too late for the announcement, but still!

Soon we'll be posting the reveal trailer for a game called "inFAMOUS." It'll shock you!

Never played a Castlevania game? Aw, the shame. Lol. I still love Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and its weird dialogue.

Dracula: "What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!"

They Bleed Pixels looks awesome. The whole concept of a little girl with badass fighting powers and 8-bit blood blows my mind. That soundtrack especially brings back memories of old school computer adventures.
