I guess this is a Skyward Sword spoiler, but not really: I liked collecting tadtones.

News Blips:

Nintendo reveals the full list of free Game Boy Advance games for 3DS Ambassadors. Remember this whole deal? When the 3DS dropped in price from “way too much” to “OK, that’s a bit better,” Nintendo made a peace offering to early adopters that involved a plethora of free games. Well, the GBA portion of said offering is about to land on Ambassador’d 3DSes this Friday, December 16, and we finally have a comprehensive list of the retro titles:

Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi’s Island
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Metroid Fusion
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Fire Emblem
Wario Land 4
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

Those eligible should be particularly excited for WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, because I said so, and because it’s delightful. [1UP]

The fifth class in the upcoming South Park RPG from Obsidian Entertainment is “Jew.” When players begin this role-playing game, they will have a choice of five different classes: Wizard, Paladin, Adventurer, Rogue, or Jew. The Judaic class will be a “Paladin/Monk type character” according to the game’s lead designer, Matt MacLean. Jews -- the in-game variety, though I have no definitive proof that this doesn’t also apply to real, live ones -- have a high-risk/high-reward aspect that makes them more powerful the closer they are to death. And here I was thinking that society had overcome the stereotype that a Jew is at his strongest when he only has one hit point left.

I really hope this game has online multiplayer so I can hear all the thoughtful things that the other kids will call my level 14 Jew. Oh well...at least now we know that the most offensive thing in this game won’t be Obsidian’s buggy gameplay. [Game Informer]

EA announces Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances -- a free-to-play massively multiplayer strategy game. The title will feature cross-platform play through browsers and mobile devices. A “revolutionary in-game social and news update feed” will keep players apprised of their enemies’ movements and alliances which could make for some interesting gameplay scenarios. It isn’t clear what content will be available for purchase, but if it’s some kind of unstoppable unit, I may actually have a chance at winning a match; just let me get my check book.

LostWinds -- an early standout on WiiWare -- will make its way to iOS.  The press release for this title is filled with lots of words like Enril and Mistralis that make no sense to me, but I remember this as a more-than-competent platforming game when it was released on Wii. Players control a character named Toku and the power of the wind. Toku can use gusts, gales, and the like to overcome obstacles and save the world from darkness, or evil, or something. Developer Frontier plans on releasing the game to Apple’s suite of mobile devices in time for the holidays.
