I've always been pretty good at first-person shooters. But when I picked up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for the first time, my primal instincts surged to life. I no-scoped campers from across the map, my pistol rounds never missed their targets, and the grenades I threw always rewarded me with multi-kills. Needless to say, I kicked ass.

But in the face of players like Joehands0me, I look like a confused 80 year-old. I normally defend my ego by labeling players like him "glitch-abusing hackers" -- but that's not fair, is it? Some people are just better than us no matter how much we senselessly deny it. You shouldn't feel ashamed about acknowledging the superiority of your opponent, even if he did just wipe out your team with a single frag grenade.
