Comic books I'd like to see become games

With so many comic book franchise that have become video games (X-men, Spider-Man, The Hulk...etc.) and many of them turning out good (like Batman Arkham Asylum, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2) and upcoming games like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Arkham Asylum 2, and DC Universe Online I'm picking comic franchises deserving games based on them.

Here are three of them!!!

The Walking Dead

Granted there are floods of zombie games on the market like Left 4 Dead 1&2, Dead Rising (and  Dead Rising 2) and others, but i've been reading this comic series and i think it would make a perfect candidate to be turned into a game for all next gen consoles. and since both Left 4 Dead and Walking Dead pretty much share a similar story plot i personally wouldn't care either way. i just like killing the undead lol.

The Spirit

Why this hasn't become a game I can't understand. I admit I never heard of the the character until the movie had came out. I even went and picked up most of the graphic novels and I will admit the books are way more awesome then the movie (not that I didn't like the film, cause I did) but I'd happily buy or rent the game if a developer were to aquire the license and do justice to the source material much like Rocksteady did for Batman.

Runaways

No, I don't mean the female band of the same name. I'm referring to the comic book series by Marvel Comics. Since it's about a kids finding out their parents are super villains I thought it would be rather neat to have a game built around that premise.

Those are pretty much all the comic titles I can think of off the top of my head lol. If anyone has any comics they want to see became games feel free to post up your favorites.

The Spirit is a tough franchise to adapt since so much of the comic's success is tied to Eisner's storytelling and layouts. It'd be easy for the game to turn into a generic shooter with some stylistic elements. The Runaways was always a comic I meant to read but never got to it (probably why it's on hiatus.)

Also, you need to use the bold and insert image icons in the article editor's toolbar if you want your text and pictures to appear properly. HTML coding doesn't work.

Edit: I fixed your pictures and bold text, though I had to use a substitute image for the third picture since it wouldn't link properly. Please keep what I said in mind for the future.

I would love to see The Runaways as a game as well ...
