Unlike all the people who just say they're afraid of clowns, I actually am, so the "Dark Carnival" section of Left 4 Dead 2 was deeply disturbing for me. Even worse is this seemingly harmless Commodore 64 game that I'd consider the first survival-horror game in existence:

In reality, Clowns is just Circus Atari, but this box art will haunt my dreams forever. Why does the most prominent clown look like convicted serial killer John Wayne Gacy?
