With the third instalment of Gears of War coming out in about 8 months time, it should be very interesting to see what Epic adds to make the game excel over the previous 2.  With mostly every game that is developed, the odds are you will see a sequel, regardless if the game is good. (Army of Two, Condemned 2, Kane & Lynch 2).  It is only if the game creates a cult like following will there be trilogies & even sagas as seen in MGS4, GoW3, Halo 6.

I just recently played through Gears 2 and I have to say....pretty damn epic!  There was a lot of improvements made from the first but yet it didn’t interfere with the games integrity unlike some other games.  The first Gears of War  changed people’s lives with its game play and even got raves for its gripping advertising.  So obviously, Cliff B knew he had to step it up and he did.  Things like offering new functions like the quick reload system which gives gamers that “WHO-RAAAA!!” tone when they’re under attack.  There’s nothing sweeter then hitting those reloads when you’re heavy under fire.

That’s just one of the many things that Cliff B takes notice to.  He wants to offer the gamers a fun experience, just take a look at what he’s doing with Bullet Storm.  You’re kicking guys into spikes and shooting peoples dicks while getting points for it.  

Gears 3is going to be taking place in the future, not space age shit but Dom has a bread but that could be anything.  Hell I know some guys that grow a beard by dinner, it doesn’t mean shit but he is tired, so tired.  He looks like he has had enough.   So who knows what going to happen with the story, all we know is that there will be mechs and 2 female characters. 

All in all, I’m looking forward to April.
