An accident like this might be understandable if the guy was using the PlayStation Move, but it's not even out yet; he was using a regular PlayStation 3 controller!

 News Blips:

Gizmodo has an X-ray from a physician whose patient seriously injured himself while playing God of War 3. Supposedly this man was so into the game that "he rolled over his hand with his knee and broke two fingers." I'm having trouble visualizing how this could have happened -- can anyone comment on if you hold or use the controller differently in God of War 3 than other PS3 games?

Jamie Foxx is now on board to play James Lynch in the movie adaptation of the Kane & Lynch video games. Bruce Willis is set to co-star as Adam "Kane" Marcus. Kyle Ward, who also wrote a game-to-movie adaptation of Sony's Uncharted series, penned the script. I feel like Mr. Foxx is going to need to find a pretty solid mullet wig, unless he tries to grow one himself. [Variety]

Analyst firm Flurry found that 44% of the iPad apps that software developers are testing now are games.  This statistic is based off of all the developers who Apple gave iPads to, ahead of the April 3 launch, to work on, though keep in mind that doesn't include those using the iPad Simulator (software that lets people program software for the tablet on a Mac). As for how many of these games will be any good and not shovelware? We'll just have to wait and see. [BusinessWeek

PlayStation.Blog is now slightly more democratic with the launch of PlayStation.Blog Share. The new feature allows readers to post their PS-related ideas, while others can vote the ideas up or down, similar to news aggregator sites Digg and Reddit. If Sony likes what members suggest, they may even implement it, or at least explain why it wouldn't work. For laughs, we should tell the people who post over at Highdeas to contribute as well.
