A former Philadelphia US Postal Service mail handler has admitted to stealing 2,200 GameFly rental video games to a federal court. It turns out he was reselling them to Gamestop for store credit. Nothing new from Nintendo as they take baby steps towards utilizing HD technology. Nintendo guru Shigeru Miyamoto commented recently that as HD TVs become more common in the market place, the company envisions their games will "move along in step." Miyamoto remains adamant that HD graphics don't necessarily improve the gameplay experience. Princess Peach isn't a playable character in New Super Mario Bros. Wii because of the difficulties of programming her dress. Creator Shigeru Miyamoto originally wanted the Princess to be a playable character, but ultimately decided on the Toads -- simillarly-sized to Mario -- to make the cut. This looks an awful lot like gender discrimination and begs the question: Why couldn't they just thrown some pants on her and be done with it? [Destructoid]
