Puzzler: Are we there yet? (part 2)

Are we there yet?

Hmm...that rock looks a lot like the one I passed by 10 minutes ago, and now that I think of it, so did that other boulder from 20 minutes ago. Ack...I'm lost.

Wandering aimlessly in a video game sucks. Thankfully, some titles provide directions in the form of good old-fashioned atlases (some more practical than others). How many titles can you identify solely by looking at map screens?

I only got #1. Number 10's map confuses me.

You didn't know China was in Kansas?

Guess not. Public school failed me.

Apparently Batman and Spider-Man spend their days in Kansas' Chinatown too.

(that game was so weird)

Map #7 makes me want to play that game. Who would put a circus camp next to a ninja house?

I know! And look at the size of those sharks.

I'm not worried about the sharks if the title character still has his "Thunder" attack from that other game he's in. No one's touching you when you have that thing.

I think this is one of the most clever ideas for a Bitmob Puzzler!

It's also one of the most educational. Who knew you couldn't fit an 80-feet-tall dinosaur inside a museum?

So, #2 I got wrong because I insisted it was the SNES version. And #6 I claimed to be 3(III)..I suck. And don't get me started with #9 -- that overworld-map looked too cool for that game.

I meant *2*

It's tough to tell the arcade from the SNES/GBA versions from that screenshot. Give yourself an extra point.

Do you remember the plot of #9? Why is there a modern building in the middle of a wasteland? Nothing in that game makes sense anyway.

Hmm...four out of 10. I did better than I thought. I can't believe I figured out #7.

As for #9, I'm just glad I haven't played that piece of crap long enough to memorize the map. Hell, who even thought of that stupid game in the first place? Lol.

Good job on getting #7. A ridiculous map from a ridiculous game.

I wonder who came up with the idea for #9, and who approved it. It must have been one awesome meeting.

7/10, but man, #9? HOW DARE YOU.

One of my friends still loves the retarded nature of that game. He owns it, for some reason. I dunno, #9 makes me want to cry. Lol.

A local game store owner once bought a copy of Final Fantasy II (SNES) off of a customer. Turns out the game had been opened and the board for #9 had been placed inside. Great way to make some cash. Terrible thing to do to someone looking for some Cecil and Rosa.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

7 out of 10 myself. 7, 8 and 10 threw me. 5 was a lucky guess and yes, I recognized 9 right when I saw it.

I didn't like it, but I recognized it.

As crappy as #9 is, no one can argue that the visuals were pretty good. If you replace the protagonist with ANY OTHER CHARACTER EVER and fix the controls, you might end up with a moderately decent fighting game. Maybe.

Missed 1 7 10

Knew #9 because I got that game still in plastic.

4/10... I'd get lost easily.

I played the first 7 of these games, but only got 5/10 right. I forgot #5 and #7. And this time I got most exact titles correct! (Usually I only get the series.)

Don't feel bad. I regularly bomb Samir's puzzlers. If this were a college course, I'd have flunked out ages ago.

Knew #2, lucky guesses on 3 and 6.  5 looks interesting.

3/10. Of course I got #9, it was even more familiar to me than #3...
