So I'm sitting here in the "Business Center" of a Hampton Inn located in Kalispell, MA. Today we drove nine hours from Tacoma, WA. Since I'm traveling with family, I had the luxury of relaxing in the back seat with my iPod Touch and a plethora of reading material. For the times where I needed a break from my books, I bought three new games for my iPod and am finally getting around to playing one I bought months ago.
The thing is, this is a two and a half week trip. Will these games hold my attention for that long? I'll keep you all up to date on how it goes. So far I've played two of them, Drop7 and Auditorium.
Drop7 is a cross between Tetris and Sudoku, basically. I've had a lot of fun with it so far. I can pick it up and play for a few minutes easily. And it's challenging enough to keep me interested and make me think. Although, my highest score so far is 55, 673. My goal is to break 100,000! if you own and iPod or iPhone, buy this game.
Auditorium is slightly more diffcult to describe. What you do is move arrows on the screen to direct streams of colored particles into containers of sorts. I've played the first two levels so far. It can be challenging to figure out exactly how to manipulate the streams, but it's also quite tranguil and almost soothing. By directing the streams properly it creates not only a pretty display, but a melody as well. Definitely pick it up if you're looking for something new. It's free, so what do you have to lose?
Yes, I am well aware that both of these have been mentioned on Bitmob before, but it can't hurt to spread the word even more. Stay tuned for my thoughts on the Secret of Monkey Island and geoDefense!

Glad to hear you're enjoying Auditorium - it's one of my favourite chill-out games, and is really well designed.
Drop 7's really good, until you get to a point where you realize you're getting screwed by random chance and there's nothing you can do about it.
Make sure to pack a car charger! And you should try the Impossible Game!
