The president depicted in this Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer looks an awful lot like John F. Kennedy. So where are Marilyn Monroe and Fidel Castro?
Video Blips:
• As expected, Call of Duty: Black Ops looks like it's gonna be anything and everything you want in a big-budget shooter. Well, maybe it's not the most accurate history lesson. it might exaggerate things a little bit.
After the break we have a preview of the new Sackbots in LittleBigPlanet 2, a rave party called Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, a featurette on Epic Mickey's "Epic Score," and Mortal Kombat's Scorpion doing what he does best.
• As if we didn't have enough to get excited about for LittleBigPlanet 2. Now, using programmable Sackbots, you can orchestrate a Bollywood song-and-dance number. It's in the video!
• Pac-Man Championship Edition DX has rainbow lights, thumping dance music, and a line of ghosts who follow the glutinous hero around the club level. I bet the developers went to some interesting places to do "research" for this game.
• Epic Mickey's soundtrack is quite, well, epic. Have you ever thought about what goes into composing the music for such a game? I'm not asking you, Mr. "Listens to the video-game soundtracks while commuting to work."
• Watching this latest Mortal Kombat trailer is a pleasant reminder that Scorpion has still got it. By "it," I mean not just the moves but also anger-management issues.
