What do we have to do to get a Dragon Age game with graphics like the animated Penny Arcade comic below?

Continue after the break for some new Donkey Kong Country Returns gameplay, a teaser for the new shooter Hybrid from the makers of Scribblenauts, a look at The Sly Collection, and a talk about Darkspore's teamwork.

• As long as we don't have to tediously play through each Donkey Kong Country Returns level multiple times with different characters just to collect various colored bananas and coins (like in Donkey Kong 64), I'm sold. I also pray that Nintendo doesn't include a "DK rap" remix with added "DK auto-tune."

• The debut teaser for Hybrid -- the next game from Super Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell -- probably isn't what you expected. The video doesn't show much, so it might be a dystopian, grown-up version of Scribblenauts...but I doubt it.

• The Sly Collection presents all three Sly Cooper games in HD and stereoscopic 3D! Great timing -- the PlayStation 3 is seriously lacking in quality platformers with anthropomorphic heroes right now.

• Darkspore places a strong emphasis on synergetic teamwork between different magical beasts. The resulting violent, gory action is how Pokémon team battles play out in my head. It's the only way I can justify playing those games as a full-grown adult.
