We've been a little sensitive about Katamari Damacy games since that incident happened in SF a couple of years back.

Video Blips:

• The Katamari Forever demo is out and the series looks as quirky as ever. We appreciate the going green theme of making plants instead of the usual ball of urban destruction and chaos. [GameTrailers]

Continue after the break for a Scribblenauts developers voice video, a stop-motion meets 8-Bits sprites in 3D glory trailer for 3D Dot Game, and a trailer for Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift which provides the opportunity to make a Kanye West joke.

• This might be one of the last chances to post a Scribblenauts video since the game comes out today! It turns out that Scribblenauts' main character Maxwell is not the rooster-hybrid freak we thought he was,  his hair is just sticking up against his helmet. [GameTrailers]

• 3D Dot Game looks like a nice blend of old school game aesthetics and modern console horse-power.
Crappy graphics have never looked quite this awesome before. [GameVideos]

• Band Hero looks like it's almost going to be as good as Guitar Hero: The Beatles, especially since it has Taylor Swift in it.
We doubt that Kanye West will be an unlockable character in the game, but if he were, we would totally agree with digital Kanye that a Single Ladies video game would be way cooler. [GameVideos]

If I had only waited...I created a Japanese PSN account to play the Katamari Forever(Tribute) demo. If I was patient, I could have avoided struggling through characters I could sort of understand and naming myself something embarrassing.
