Do you think Michael Jackson would have ever let Nintendo use his song "Black or White" to promote Pokémon Black & White?

Video Blips:

• The new starter Pokémon in Black & White seem particularly uninspired this time around. You used to choose based on which one was the coolest -- now it seems like you choose the one that's the least embarrassing to be seen with.

Continue after the break for Robot Chicken's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 ad, a preview of the indie platformer Gunboy, and a look at the glamorous Republic Trooper class in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

• How do you sell more copies of any Star Wars game? Just promote it with a clever Robot Chicken commercial -- it's like some kind humorous Jedi mind trick.

• Gunboy stars a cute little creature who can change his elemental composition between fire, water, and plants. Do you think he'll be able to transform into love? Because that would kind of be lame.

• Who wants to play as a boring old Jedi in Star Wars: The Old Republic when you can be a Republic Trooper? I hear that the Empire has a pretty good medical and dental plan....

Pokemon's starter designs have gotten a bit wierd since the third generation. Nevertheless, Snivy is the coolest of the Black & White starters. Few pokemon have such a high degree of pompousnes and a  pompous pokemon is much more preferable than training a wind up toy pig or mutated otter.

@Rakim, excellent analysis. I think Snivy's pompousness makes him seem less desirable...since he kind of looks like a jerk. Is the water one a mutated otter? I was trying to figure out what that thing was.
