Just before I put these blips together I was watching a movie called Chain Letter, in which a guy kills people who don't forward a chain letter...with an actual chain. I love October.
Video Blips:
• Another week, another Sonic Generations trailer. This one features three updated levels from the Modern Era and zero appearances of the Werehog. Point, Sega.
Continue after the break for a brainstorming session for Bit.Trip Runner 2, a fight with the dreaded Barrow-Wight Lord in The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and the shocking revelation that Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots is exactly what it sounds like.
• Area 5 produced this video of Gaijin Games' silly "brainstorming session" for Bit.Trip Runner 2. More games need turkey suits. And the turkey suits could lay eggs. And the eggs? They're totally bombs, man.
• In this vignette for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, the Power of Three squares off against the Barrow-Wight Lord. I haven't read those books in a while, so I had to look up what barrow-wights are. It turns out they're ghosts and have little (if anything) to do with tricking people into thinking you're The Dread Pirate Roberts.
• Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots is Fruit Ninja, only you're Puss in Boots. That's it. Wait...how can they still call it "Fruit Ninja" if that clothed, talking cat is clearly not a ninja? That's just implausible. I don't think they thought this random-ass movie tie-in through.
