With the holiday season already begun, we're starting to see a lot of launch trailers for big-name titles like Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim. Luckily, we have Disney and PopCap to balance out the serious tone of such games.

• Modern Warfare 3 shows us a world falling apart in urban chaos. This must be the third time in the past six months I've seen New York destroyed in a video game. Why not a more exotic locale?

Hit the break to see a town terrorized in Skyrim, the new hit single from Disney Universe, and why 'tis the season to play Plants vs. Zombies.

• Who will stand up to a mighty dragon as the town runs in terror in Skyrim? You. Now I'm all up for fighting CG dragons, but let's get that roar right!

• Get suited up and start shaking that rump for Disney Universe. Adorable. If I were a parent I would play this song every year when my child gets ready to go trick-or-treating.

• PopCap hires a new temp in preparation for a Plants vs. Zombies party, Halloween-style. A nice way to celebrate Halloween. At least he's not being mistreated.
