Birthday Gaming Wishes

Today is my birthday and I got what I wanted. My wife and I have this thing where we give each other a list of our wants for the other to buy us. About a month ago I gave her my list of wants and you know I got what I wanted. The wants Included Saboteur for PS3, Eternal Sonata for PS3 and a subscription to the new EGM. I don't feel bad giving my wife a list of my birthday wants as I know she will not be able to ever fill my gaming wishes.  So with knowing I can get what I want I am not disappointed when I do open my gifts for my birthday. Now time to go on about the meaning of the title Birthday Gaming Wishes.

A birthday wish to me should be something that you would love to see happen, but you know it wont. Now for what ever reason if the wish does come true by telling someone else or keeping it to yourself and someone surprises you with it. I can't speak for everyone about this, but this how I look at a birthday wish. Now if you put the word gaming in between birthday and wish you narrow it down to something more specific which would be harder for many to do.

This year I had two birthday wishes and one of them happened. The first that happened is thanks to a friend of mine in PA. He always talks about gamefly and how he enjoys it and all the games he plays. I did the mistake of telling him wish I could do that, but can't right now. Neil is the kind of friend once you say you can't do it he will find a way to do it legally. I am thankful to have a friend like him, but one thing you would not have guessed. We have yet to meet, but then again you don't have to meet to be good friends to send each other things.

Now my second wish I will say it here to you all. Then again I would love to know what yours would be. My birthday gaming wish it to get a Signed piece of concept art from the Mystical Ninja Series and get to do an interview with someone with Konami about the franchise. Now you know my birthday gaming wish for the past three years, please tell me what yours is.

My birthday wish is for a job writing for Edge. *Looks around hopefully*

But happy birthday and good luck on those last two desires.
