He Won't Be Getting a Star Trek Online Lifetime Subscription

I've been having a pretty great time with Star Trek Online since the game's official launch on Tuesday. This guy has not:

He says that the ship battles better be pretty sweet, since he hasn't done that yet. I would like to point out that you fly a ship within 10 minutes of starting the game. Also, exactly how is the presence of the Borg in conflict with the game's "future Trek" timeline?

Alright, I'm beginning to sound pretty nerdy myself. Let's just leave this guy be. I hope he has fun with "Modern Warriors 2."

Did you have to post this Mike? As respectful as Bitmob is, it just seems like it welcomes the, "Tee-hee, look at the poor guy get his pants in a bunch" comments from people who are subconsciously trying to make themselves feel better. I recognize that you acknowledged it in your post, but nobody deserves that. I mean, I'm afraid to go the actual YouTube page and read the comments on this guy's video. I say this in the most respectful possible, but I really don't feel stuff like this belongs on the front page. It's just unnecessary.

Actually, this guy is a genius -- the lisp, the slave leia resplendant with Magic cards, it's all an act. I watched some other videos of his and he talks in a perfectly normal (and completely different) voice. But it might be good to mention that in the main post somewhere.

@Demian Well then, I'm an idiot for getting all serious about it. I was actually convinced that there was a guy out there who fit the sterotype perfectly. Just browsed his channel, the one where he called McDonald's about being fat was pretty damn hilarious. People were laughing their asses off on the other line.

If this guy is putting on an act he has got it down! Any video with some guy or girl getting mad HAS to end with their head exploding. ;D

@Nick I agree, though, I'd feel a bit bad posting this here if it *wasn't* a put on.

@Demian Yeah, it would be. My primary concern is that I see a lot of YouTube videos getting their own post, and I was just concerned that it was starting to become spam with a video like this (of course, that was when I though it *wasn't* an act). Luckily, most of them are interesting and very much worth the post. :) And the guy actually is a good guy. He has some touching thoughts on the situation in Haiti.

Yeah, watching this I figured it had to be some sort of a joke. That lisp seems fake.

I can't say if it's an act or if it's genuine (I'm leaning more towards act), but either way I still think it's pretty funny. Still, even if it was genuine, I don't really buy that I'm being mean by posting this. It's not like I hid a camera in this guy's room and posted him on the internet without his knowledge. He put this up himself. Assuming he's hamming it up for views, I've given him exactly what he wants.

Confirmed, it's a act. Seems "Francis" is a personality he made up just to make people laugh. Watched another one of his videos and looks like he's just a goofball.

It had to be an act. The slave Leia poster with the Magic cards surrounding it was perfectly placed in the shot so people could spot it imediately. The exageration of the lisp was also a telltale sign. This guy has the cliché internet/mmo geek cliché totally nailed down for sure. He puts all the actors and writers in that god-awful Big Bang Theory show to shame.
