iPod Nano in a Dreamcast VMU
Mikeminotti-biopic

Remember the Dreamcast VMU (Virtual Memory Unit)? Not only did it serve as the system's memory card, but it had a small screen and buttons, which allowed for portable gaming, to go along with what seemed like about 30 seconds of battery life. It was just one of the unique quirks that made the Dreamcast so special.

If just thinking about Sega's tragically short-lived console gives you a warm feeling inside, you'll probably enjoy this case mod for the iPod nano, which pays homage to the only memory card that ever had a directional pad [via Engadget]:

It's somewhat comforting to know that at least the Japanese are still listening to Brittney Spears.

That's a pretty interesting way to use a Dreamcast VMU.  I would actually like to get that, even though I don't like iPods haha.  :P  Pretty hilarious to know that the Japanese still listen to Britney Spears though.  XD  No offense to her fans.  :|

Very nice mod. But when I see stuff like this, e.g. stuff inside another system. I can't help but think its somewhat parasitic.

Wow. Lol. I love the picture of Bill Gates with the shuriken in his head. Ow.

Britney Spears music on a Dreamcast VMU. How strangely disturbing. :-/

Perhaps it's in time for the Glee Britney Spears episode...? No?
