When given the choice, I usually don't play as girls in my role-playing games. I think I just have an easier time identifying with male characters since I'm, you know, a man.

Bioware shows off Dragon Age 2's female Hawk. So far we've only been seeing the scruffy, manly version of the upcoming fantasy role-playing game's hero. But after seeing how cute Hawk looks as a girl -- whom I shall affectionately call "Hawkette" -- I think I know which gender I'm going to roll with. Just look at those rosy cheeks and that blood...thing...on her nose. [Kotaku]

More downloadable content coming for Uncharted 2? Emily Rose -- the voice actress for Elena -- has been recording new dialogue for developer Naughty Dog. This likely points to new DLC for what many considered 2009's Game of the Year. I'm certainly up for it, especially if it's more co-op missions. [Joystiq]

Jailbreaking your PlayStation 3 just got harder. The 3.42 firmware update for the PS3 has ended the ability to mod your system using a popular exploit involving a USB dongle. I'm sure the hacking community will find a way around this eventually. By the way, can someone tell me where the word "jailbreaking" came from? [1UP]
