Persona 3 Portable U.S. Release Date Announced

Today Atlus U.S.A. announced the release date for Persona 3 Portable, as well as a few changes to the gameplay.

The inclusion of a female protagonist is the largest change to the game, but notable improvements have been made to the combat and inventory management systems. P3P does lack the extra content added in FES edition of the game, but the streamlining of frustrating elements gives the PSP version added appeal to gamers put-off by the rigid party controls of the PS2 releases.

Look for Persona 3 Portable on July 6, 2010.

Yeah Yeah whatever. How 'bout Persona 2? You know, the direct sequel to the last one that came out on PSP, the one that never came out in America? When are you going out make with that one Atlus? Hmmmm?

I wonder if it will also be on the PSP Go as it would make me more inclined to purchase a Go over a DS. :)

Give us the Innocent Sin and the Eternal Punishment in one package to be really nice!

I agree with Dana; I'd much rather see Persona 2 (mostly because I already have FES), but I'm not too worried, because I have a feeling that it's already in the works.

@Dana: I share the want for a complete, truly complete, version of Persona 2, and I have no doubt it will happen. What I like about this is that they added more features from Persona 4 into the controls of 3. So the combat is VASTLY improved by the ability to control each memeber of the party individually. Persona 3 is a great game, and they are really wanting to get it right. I think this version will hit the mark, but I've yet to play it.
