This ad is legendary! And Michael, obviously you saw that in EGM. I was always unsure about that idea, but Crispin Boyer talked me into it.

Of course I saw it in EGM! I always thought things like that gave the mag character, like a facially battle scarred old man. Crispin's a genius. I'd actually like to hear the argument he made with you, on that one. It seems like something that would've been a tough sell to a man like you.

Wow, I hate to say it but I guess I never got around to playing this one in the old days. I must say though, some of those animations were pretty good for a old NES game. Especially when the bird carries him away.

The first issue of EGM I got was #3, the Fabio/Ironsword cover. By the way, if you need more retro ads I've got a bunch I can supply you with. My magazines are all in storage now but I scanned a lot of ads a while back for a friend and I should still have copies of them on my PC at home.
