Strangely, out of all of the cool things in this Guild Wars 2 trailer, the most memorable part is the slow-motion running scene -- à la Baywatch -- near the end.

Video Blips:

This inspirational Guild Wars 2 "manifesto" looks at developer AreaNet's game-design philosophy. Keep in mind that this manifesto has nothing to do with communism, but I'm sure a couple of bored college students could easily draw up some connections.

Continue after the break for the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game launch trailer, an installment of the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood developer diary, and a look at some Final Fantasy 14 monsters.

• This Scott Pilgrim vs. The World trailer details the story and plot of the game, but who cares about that? It's a retro-style beat-'em-up with an awesome soundtrack -- that's really all you need to know.

• The developers of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood look quite mysterious in this video, standing at attention in their dark hoods and taking turns speaking. Are they a part of some secret society of game designers or just doing it to look cool? You be the judge. [GameTrailers]

• The name of this Final Fantasy 14 video is "In Pursuit of Real Monsters," but I believe it should read "realistic" monsters. You could argue that they're real computer-generated monsters, but that's kind of stretch. [GameTrailers]
