Dragon Quest fever is slowly spreading through Western countries. The love that Japan displays year after year for this quirky and ground-breaking Japanese role-playing-game series is profound and often confusing. But with each passing localization, more Westerners answer the call of that timeless Dragon Quest fanfare. 

Dragon Quest 9 is generating a lot of buzz, more so now since Nintendo's first Wi-Fi event in the U.S. took place over the weekend. These events cater to the multiplayer aspect of DQ9, offering more maps and rare items to find.

With that in mind, it is time the Bitmob Community attacked the series full force. You can write about DQ9, or any of the past installments, in any way you see fit.

Are you new to the Dragon Quest series, or do you fondly remember the days when we called it Dragon Warrior? Anything and everything you want to say about the series is open to discussion!

Here are a few ideas:

• Do you think Japanese manga artist and character designer Akira Toriyama's art has a negative impact on Dragon Quest now that most Westerners associate the style with Dragon Ball Z?
• Do you think the move to the DS for Dragon Quest 9 is a step back for the series after the stunning work Level 5 did on the PS2 with Dragon Quest 8?
• How do you feel about Dragon Warrior 7? Many fans tend to label it as the worst in the series while others wildly defend it.
