Bitmob Wants You: To Write About Video-Game Movies

The film adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comics is the most recent in a long line of films that try to deliver video-game influences, style, and culture to a broad audience. And as the opening weekend numbers show, the film didn't have a good first weekend at the box office....

Bitmob doesn't care about box-office receipts: We care what you think about video-game movies. Are they essential to the gaming experience or shameful tie-ins that almost always misrepresent their source material?

You can tackle this callout any way you like, but as always, here's how to get started:

1) Write anything you want about video-game movies. Keep it concise -- about 200-400 words should do it. You may write longer if you choose.

2) Use the following tag: "Movies Callout" -- but do tag the games you mention!

3) Submit your article to the Mobfeed by Tuesday, August 24.

Aw, what! Can I just resubmit my Hollywood Conversation post? Lol fine. Maybe it's time for a follow up conversation in the shape of a big budget sequel.

What a coincidence--I have plans to write about Resident Evil and why it's a financial sucess!
