How to Make Gaming Swag Useful

I've never had strep throat, well, before right now, anyway. I can only describe the pain as blistering. And for the next 10 days, I have to take one gigantic, antibiotic pill every eight hours. How will I ever keep up my chic gaming image while wasting away on a medication regimen?

That's when I remembered that my review copy of Trauma Team came with this curious, little item:

A pill box full of strangely powdery M&Ms. I took this picture last night, so you can imagine how nice and stale they are since Dan Hsu sent this to me over a month ago. But that's nothing a thorough washing can't fix.

I hate carrying pill bottles around with me, and I have a ton of useless gaming swag just taking up space. I use my Resident Evil 5 bag as a purse, and the Mirror's Edge pre-order bonus as a laptop case....

Hit the jump to see how this weird candy box becomes a fashionable medication dispenser.

The box not only holds four days of pills but has a nifty sliding compartment for bandages.

My antibiotics sort of look like candy, or those pills that make Drop Dead Fred go away.

I tend to get a lot of large gamer shirts that never fit me, so I sleep in a lot of them. My xbox bag served as a work bag for years and I've been pretty much shielded from all types of  weather thanks to Sony and Hudson as they gave me a scarf, toque and umbrella. Everything else swag is just pretty decoration in my home.

Those "pills" were dusty and stale when I first got 'em!

Only semi-related, but I watched Drop Dead Fred on Netflix a couple of weeks ago. Didn't age well...

@Travis: Apparently a re-make is in the works. The rights were sold last year with that intention.

I use my Halo 3 Master Cheif helmet to hide weed in.
