The infamous Call of Duty. For most people it is the Over the top arcade shooter that everybody has come to know and love. But for some it is more than that. It is an excuse to get off work for 2 days, to sit down and rank up in Multiplayer. But I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that CoD is fun for the first few months until about May of the next year, then it gets boring, repetitive, and rage inducing. But according to Activision, things could be different. They are saying it will be the best CoD yet! But that is what they said for MW2. The CoD series was all about fun and the community until about World at War. Once MW2 was announced and Activision saw the response from the community, they knew they struck gold. That is when they started getting "cocky", they went to over the top. Noobtubes, OMA, and Danger Close. Did they really think that would be a good idea? Robert Bowling, the community manager of Infinity Ward, tweeted that they "lost the battle to OMA Danger Close". I was wondering, how is it possible to "LOSE" a battle when all you have to do is patch it. Lazy if you ask me. Then Black Ops. Treyarch takes the cake for community support. Patches, double XP weekends, and fun map packs. BUT it seems like Infinity Ward makes the better games. If Infinity Ward keeps their eyes and ears open to the community, the players, the people buying their game, and take action to what those people want, then in my opinion this will be the best Call of Duty yet.
