Doesn't Lego Rock Band sound like prime material for an EGM April Fools joke?

News Blips:

Aging rocker Iggy Pop is set to appear in Lego form in the upcoming Lego Rock Band. In addition to his Lego-interpreted likeness he will also serve as the voice of the tutorials. We wonder if they're gonna push for Lego Kurt Cobain? That wouldn't be controversial. [1up]

Apparently Scribblenauts' lexicon expands over 20,000 words. An ambitious individual has found the games dictionary and made a list of all the possible words. Spoiler alert, as it will likely take a lot of fun out of seeing what works and what doesn't in the game. We wonder if non-English words, like quesadilla, are in there too. [Joystiq]

The Pac-Man world record has been broken...again! The original perfect score was set by acclaimed old-school video game champion Billy Mitchel and since then the only way to one-up the record is to do it faster. David Race has recently set the bar at 3 hours, 41 minutes, and 22 seconds. We can't imagine what that guy must see when he closes his eyes. [Destructoid]

Kotaku is reporting that a Wii price drop might be in effect early October if a leaked Walmart ad is to believed. Currently set at $249, a drop from there would possibly put the machine into the affordable range for cash-strapped, recession-affected gamers. Way to rain on the PS3 parade, Nintendo. [Kotaku]

Twenty-thousand words?? That's insane. I just hope that everything I type in will work, heheh. And they've gotta have quesadilla! They just gotta!
