Editor's note: The Pixel Revolt gents are taking the week off, but they do have a couple of homework assignments for you for the next episode on Aug. 10. -Jason

We've got some good news and some bad news, folks.

The bad news: Jeff's in the process of moving, so we're going to miss our usual biweekly Tuesday schedule for Pixel Revolt. The next episode is now scheduled for Tuesday, August 10.

The good news: You have one more week to answer the community question!

What setting (time/place) do you most want to see in a video game?

My choices are Mars and the 12th century. I've already got a title lined up: Medieval Martian Mayhem! It would pit space knights against cosmic trolls and moon dragons, and it would be totally awesome.

Send your written responses to PixelRevoltDL@gmail.com, or, better yet, send us an audio clip via Houndbite. The process is simple:

1) Head over to Houndbite.com.

2) Sign up for an account (it's quick and painless -- honest).

3) Record your audio clip and upload it to Houndbite.

4) E-mail the link to the clip to PixelRevoltDL@gmail.com.

On a related note, people have asked us if we're planning to invite other Bitmob community members on the podcast. That's definitely an avenue that we're considering, but in the meantime the best way to make yourself heard (literally) is to record an audio clip and send it to us. We love the audio clips: They break up the monotony of the three of us yakking, and they're a quick and easy way to hear diverse responses.

We truly want this to be the community podcast, so help us out and lend us your voice!

You may find Pixel Revolt biweekly on iTunes. If you're feeling generous, give us a rating or leave a nice comment. We appreciate it!

I have left several comments on iTunes, but nothing has shown up yet. Odd.
I am looking forward to this episode, and although I am going to send in a audio clip, my answer to the question is Rome in the 2nd Century AD. Gladiators, Orgies, and Intrigue. What could be better?

I have been meaning to submit something. All these delays are telling me something, something I can only guess is related to my first sentence, but I am not sure what.

@Andrew: I knew you'd get it! I had originally planned to have the first letter of each paragraph spell out S-U-B-M-I-T A-N-D-Y, but I thought it'd be too obvious.

And, um, it also could be taken the wrong way.

Do you guys think that using Skype for future voice mail would be a possibility?

Yes! I'll probablybe able to send in an audio clip, now that you've extended the deadline! I might not be able to submit one until the 8th or 9th - a little short... :'(

@Jazz: We used to have a voicemail option, but since it required Derek's computer to be logged into Skype 24/7, we dropped it. We also received the majority of the responses through Houndbite. If you're looking for good, free recording software, I recommend Audacity.

@Omar: We're actually going to record a bit sooner than that, but do submit something when you can, and we'll see what we can do.
