Street Fighter 3 characters battle classic villains

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike characters don’t give a f***! These bruisers will smash cars with their bare hands, parry incoming fireballs, and bitch-slap diaper-wearing gods. But what if Street Fighter brawlers took on villains from other video games? Are the world warriors bad enough to win, or will they go home and be family men, women, and beasts?

Get your stinking barrels off me, you damned dirty ape!Ryu vs. Donkey Kong

In the original Donkey Kong arcade game, the naked gorilla did not have any attacks besides hurling barrels down steel beams. Unfortunately, barrels are the natural enemies of shotokan karate masters. Ryu parried and destroyed every incoming projectile, then hurricane-kicked the primate’s ass all the way back to the jungle.

Alex vs. Krang

Krang was a feared warlord in his world, but here on Earth he’s just a slimy brain inside a lumbering android. Alex doesn’t care for such nonsense, so he immediately performed a neutering Hyper Bomb on the former dictator as soon as he teleported from Dimension X.

Chun-Li vs. Ridley

No one knows how Ridley survived Samus’ savage beating in the first Metroid, but the alien pterodactyl wishes he was never born now that he met the strongest woman in the world. Chun-Li has no need for ice beams or varia suits. Just one kick from those supernatural legs is all it takes to bring peace to the galaxy.

Dudley vs. Soda Popinski

On his way to the World Circuit Boxing Championship, Dudley came face to face with a terribly stereotyped Russian contender by the name of Vodka Drunkenski, err...I mean, Soda Popinski. Knocking off his delicious, non-alcoholic beverage from his hand earned Dudley a star, which he used to send the pinkish freak flying into the crowd with a flying Jet Uppercut.

Akuma vs. Dobkeratops

When the evil Bydo Empire threatened to destroy Earth, Akuma didn’t give a crap. Then he realized that without humans there would be no one to torture, so he teleported to space where he encountered Dobkeratops, a Bydo general. A few hits from Akuma’s Tenma Gozankuu took care of the intergalactic pest. The unworthy must be removed from existence….

Glad you like them! I had so many other ideas. Maybe I'll make a sequel some day.

This is amazing. I'm laughing myself to pieces over the Ryu one. I demand to see Makoto land a Karakusa Grab on Knuckles the Echidna and Q defeat Final Boss Kefka (not really).

Originally I had Alex Hyper-Bombing the Technodrome and Chun-Li doing a Spinning Bird Kick on a colossus from Shadow of the Colossus. I had to tone it down a notch to fit the article.

No that's cool, though I guess you didn't want to go with a Super Lightning Legs reference for Chun-Li. Maybe if you do a sequel you could have one with Fighter Kirby parrying it, though it would be kind of obvious.

I always wonder how Akuma manages to breathe in outer space. Then again, he's possessed by demons or something. He doesn't really need oxygen.

I'd be more worried about purple flames coming out of his hands. His brother Gouken probably got all the attention from their parents because Akuma looks like a freaking monster. The man's pissed at everything, including oxygen.
