Steampunk is an obsession for a lot of people, and they want everything they use to look like it fell out of a Victorian tinkerer's laboratory. Most of the time the end result is rather hokey and useless.
This absurd 360 controller is cumbersome, but it's the best Steampunk adaptation I've ever seen.

You might have noticed the large keyhole where the Xbox button usually is. It's still a fully-functioning switch, only now you use the accompanying key to access the dashboard and to turn your controller on. The fact that such a ridiculous design actually works makes this the crowning achievement for Steampunk "retrofitting."
Controller-modding company MorbidStix is auctioning this piece off on eBay. The Buy It Now price is $999.99, which...is a little outrageous for a pretty but unwieldy device.
