"As the crow flies" takes on a whole new meaning within the volatile world of Rift -- the pernicious avians apparently have a tendency to foment tears in the fabric of reality.
Video Blips:
• A purposeful archer evades his pursuers to close a life-spewing portal in Rift. Someone should tell those blue-skinned humanoids that they missed the Avatar casting call.
Continue after the break for the exceedingly destructible environments of Breach, a peek behind the scenes of Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone War's succinct dialogue, and a very familiar Ridley-shaped foe in Dead or Alive: Dimensions.
• Everything and anything in Breach is destructible, including your own body if you get caught in the mayhem. I suppose using heavy ordnance to level buildings is far more exciting than a boring old wrecking ball.
• Voice actors take their job seriously -- even if said job devolves to simple grunts and cute noises for Lego Star Wars 3. Then again, Star Wars isn't the ideal setting for stirring Shakespearean prose.
• Don't you hate it when a space dragon ruins your duel to the death in Dead or Alive: Dimensions? He also shows his appreciation of being included by giving the worst hug imaginable.
