My favorite Street Fighter character would have to be Ibuki. She's been my main since 3S, and while I'm nowhere near tournament level, I love how fast and fluid she is with her mixups and mobility options.

It's always been Ken! I love his ranged  flaming dragon punch and his hurricane kick gets more hits than Ryu's and can stun an opponent. 

It depends on the game really but usually it's Akuma. Oh God I had a World Tour build in Alpha 3 with Shina Akuma that just destroyed the competition. Those were the days.

E. Honda here. When I'm playing fair, I play as Cammy or Ken, but playing as Honda in online ranked matches in Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting on XBLA several years ago was a blast.

It's not because I cared about my rank (I only play with friends, and for fun, not to be pro), but listening to the other guy rage over the microphone as I cornered him and destroyed his precious win streak was delicious.

Sakura. A character that exists as an eternal underdog is appealing to me as i've never been good at fighting games. So when I do manage to beat someone without even being good at her combos they know that I just straight up outsmarted them and not because I take the game super seriously. The character is also a fantastic rushdown beast in MVC2 and should have been in MVC3.

The only correct choices are Dan and Skullomania. I cannot choose one, so I withdraw my entry. :-\

Makoto. The only character (that's not Ryu or clone Ryu) I've ever been decent with in the entire franchise. She's like Akusa from Tekken. Has a good move set but you're not going to get far if you just button mash and not read your opponents attacks.

Different characters for the different games in the series, but overall I would say Ryu. Just a good overall character to play as.

Ryu. A lot of people think he's a boring guy in a generic outfit, but that isn't the heart of the character. Ryu is someone who has found something that truly means everything to him. Fighting is his life; it defines him. He doesn't need fancy clothes or expensive cars. He doesn't need gourmet food or a million-dollar mansion. He just needs the next challenge, to test himself against new people in new places. As long as he can keep pushing himself in battle, he has everything he needs to be happy.

Cammy, because I have a thing for British accents and thongs. If you're asking which character I normally choose to play, though, that'd be Ken. He's the only one with which I've made an effort to learn the moves.

I really do like Ryu also, but I just think Ken has better range, although I do enjoy using Ryu when I want to play a bit more defensive.

Dan, because I once drunkenly beat someone's twelve game streak with him and it was the greatest moment of my life.

Sagat is my favorite. I love his lower Tiger punch and his Tiger knee is great for getting out of a jam. 

I'm a Ryu guy myself, end up playing him the most, but thats cause SF1 was my first SF game & I know most of his moves :)

Dudley. Everybody else is guttah trash!

I'm pretty boring: my favourite is - and always has been - Ryu. Love that wandering rogue; generic design and all.

Sakura. She's kind of a shoto but not really, and I appreciate her upbeat personality in a game of so many buff dudes.

I definately have to go with Dudley on this one. For he always keeps it classy! 

Oh and Necro is pretty cool as well. I mean, he's a perfect combination of Blanka and Dhalsim and not too mention he also has a unique character design. 

My favorite Street Fighter character has always been Sagat. I'll choose Balrog if I wanna throw my opponent off guard.

Ryu. I guess mainly because of how cool he is in the anime movies!

I still have a crush on Sakura as my favorite Street Fighter character. Even though she's now younger than I am, her shoryuken hits for massive combo strings. I also love her victory pose in Street Fighter 4.

Mines gotta be Oro just for his back story and awesome aerial moves!

My favorite character is sadly absent from SFIII: Vega aka M. Bison. I like playing as the bad guys and he's truly evil, plus his Psycho Crusher is one of the coolest looking moves of all time.

As far as III goes, I tend to choose Gouki/Akuma because of the evilness and his Shun Goku Satsu super move.

My favourite is Ken, but I don't use him as a main character anymore. I used him mainly in Alpha for his Super Combos.

My favorite is Chun-Li. Thunderthighs baby!

My favorite is Blanka, always liked that weird crazy green monster with awesome orange hair :)

Of all time? Hmmm. Has to be one of the original fighters then! I'll go with GUILE. I was a huge G.I. J.O.E. fan and GUILE made my patriotic heart beat faster the first time I saw him. The essence of cool is the term that Sonic booming and backbreaking powerhouse that is GUILE. The first time I smashed my enemies spine in half grabbing him in mid air and I never wanted to play anyone else. I think I made a good choice since GUILE has been a TIER 1 character in almost every Street Fighter ever since!

Only SSFIV made me branch out a little bit. It made me develop a curious crush on ROSE. She is just so different and her deflect attacks / combos are just so much fun. The fact that almost no one plays her throws %80 of the people off their game. I love that! But that wasn't the question.

Favorite of all time is Ryu, just because he's always fighting, looking for a new challenge. Also because i really like his ending on SF3

I gotta go with Dhalsim. I'm not great at combos or inputs, but with Dhalsim's long pokes, I don't have to be.

Akuma. All hail the glass cannon!

Blanka is such a bad-ass that his mom gave him shackles when he was born. Those things probably had a ball and chain attached, but he chewed through them. Wooooo wo? Wow! Wow! (I'm feeling great!)

At the risk of sounding unoriginal, I have to go with Ryu. He's pretty well-rounded as a fighter and throws a mean hadoken.

I guess I could say the same about Ken, but I mean, come on. The man's named after Barbie's boyfriend for God's sake.

It's been a while since I've played a Street Fighter game seriously, but back in the day with Super Street Fighter II Turbo- it was always about Vega.  

I was hilariously also not that good with him.  If I actually wanted to win I'd have to pick someone else :/

I'm also going to have to go with Dudley.  His punching combos are awesome, and he feels a lot more like a boxer than Balrog.

However, my cell phone ring tone is the Street Fighter Tribute Album version of Ken's theme.  Man that song is awesome.  Man, I'm a nerd.

That's simple: Blanka. He can electrocute people; which was the easiest move ever to perform in Street Fighter.

Blanka, because nothing says Brazilian like a green skinned, red haired monster that can electrocute people. Plus, he makes pound cake.

Ryu. I know it's kinda the default character, not much change, blah blah, etc etc but I like it. Started playing with him in SF2 and kept playing with him in every fighting game that capcom made.

Chun-Li! She the only one I could use that I would always rip apart my brothers in this game. It got so bad they didn't want to play againist me anymore lol!

I've always liked Zangief. Despite his portrayal in early SFII, he's always had a goofy demeanor in the end, plus, he gives you the satisfaction of pile driving your opponents!

I mean, in SFII's ending, he danced with President Gorby. In SFIV, he showed some kids how truly awesome at wrestling he was.

I'm going to go with Ken - I just seem to have more affinity with him when I play.

Guile, because his theme goes with everything.
