Have you ever wondered why more games don't convey life experiences? I have, and I've conjured my first experiential game starring a homeless person.

"@Dennis: Brevity and being uncritical of the press are key. ;)"

"Excellent piece. I'd definitely like to see more mature commentary on games -- whether it's from mainstream newspapers and sites finally embracing games or established game publications. I'm sure it's tough reporting on games when you have to worry about being cutoff from future information. Once everyone starts doing it, it may no longer be an issue."

"I'm with you in that games should be played and not just collected because they're valuable. As for Panzer Dragoon Saga, I just recommend buying it, playing it quickly, then selling it, because I doubt the price will go down anytime soon. It's pretty good, but definitely not worth holding onto for $200."

"I'd say my price is around $10 as well. I'll spend $15 on a downloadable game if it's great, but ten's a price that doesn't make the purchase too risky. I rarely ever purchase DLC, because it's usually over with so quickly. I don't think I'd ever spend $25 on a mount if I had World of Warcraft either. At least WoW is so huge that it likely won't divide the community in a significant way."

"That was a really nice comment, Rachel. It's always helpful hearing ways people cope with things, too."

"I would like to see more shorter RPGs as well. Chrono Trigger was the perfect length for me, and it didn't feel like there was any padding.
I think your idea for sports games is great. I'm not really a fan of sports sims, so I'd just be happy seeing more arcade-y sports games in general. Blitz, Jam, and Gretsky 3D were the last non-extreme sports games that I really enjoyed."

"This sounds like an interesting casual game. Like you said, though, it'd be nice to have a bit more realism in the form of potential negative outcomes."

"Interesting topic, Sean. I'm sure there are people who'd want this service, but the price is outrageous. I'm not sure if gamers are a good target audience, though. And I completely agree with Jeffrey's response."

"Nice comparison. I still haven't played either of these, but I'd probably go with Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom."

"Excellent piece, Alex. I agree that the idea of a piece is the most important and frequently used words aren't a big deal. I try to avoid using certain words too often when writing, but I don't mind when reading the works of others."
