Everyone writing about Arkham City has debated whether the sequel really lived up to the hype. However, they haven't talked about how it could have ended up.
Take the example of the video of the "Fresh Prince of Gotham." Actually, it's more like the "Menacing Joker of Gotham." I found this one random day in college in 1998, when I was tired from studying too long. All my roommates were still talking about The Dark Knight, the blockbuster Batman film that featured the fearsome post-humous acting performance of Heath Ledger.
It was a dark film that led to all sorts of serious discussions over whether the superhero movie was too intense. And then this parody video came out.
The video is set to the memorable theme song of "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air." It features some of the sexiest dancing from comedians who loved the new Batman movie. Oddly enough, they happened to film it in around the same area where the director of The Dark Knight filmed some of the stunt scenes.
To say the least, let's just thank Rocksteady for not making the new Arkham City game look like this video.
Any thoughts on the video and how Arkham City differs from this interesting creation? Feel free to write about it in the comments below.
