Bitmob+GamePro Update: June and July Issues

Congratulations to Brian Taylor and Michael Rousseau for being the most recent Bitmob community members to find their work in GamePro magazine.

Taylor's Game Stories: Pulling Them Apart, Putting Them Back Together Again earned GamePro honors for the July 2010 issue, featuring Killzone 3. Taylor says that when playing games, we've got two stories to tell: The story of the game, and our story of playing the game. This issue goes on sale next week if you're interested in reading it in print.

Rousseau is the Bitmob community contributor for the June 2010 issue of GamePro with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 on the cover (it's on sale now if you want to read it in the magazine). His piece, The Problems with Perishable Content, is a warning about the potential dangers gamers and their games face in the digital age. It's on newsstands now.

And don't forget: Bitmob's editors check the Mobfeed daily for worthy candidates for GamePro. If you're interested in getting your piece into the magazine, please read these guidelines from GamePro Executive Vice President of Content John Davison.

Umm...I think there's an error here, unless Gamepro is dedicating both its June and July covers to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Mike Rousseau's DLC article is the one in the Force Unleashed Issue.

Also (I just noticed this,) you can read "July" on the Killzone 3 cover picture you provided.

Just wanted to clear up the confusion.

Was just going to say, yeah. I'm June. My force is unleashed.

As an aside, it's endlessly amusing to go up to a customer at my work who is reading the new issue and tell them to look at page 20. I've had a handful of "holy shit!" responses this week alone. Totally worth getting published.

Thanks.

It's really weird to open a magazine and see your face as part of the art in the table of contents.

Like, really weird.

You said it better than I could, Demian. And congrats to Brian and Mike!

@Brian my pic was just attached to my article, and it's not even in the TOC. I'm interested to see your issue, now.
