COD MW2 HACKS

2,500 confirmed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC) cheaters have been banned from Steam. Infinity Ward front-man Robert Bowling tweeted this news last Friday, proclaiming "The Steam ban hammer is coming down on about 2,500 confirmed #MW2 cheaters on PC today." Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten believes that Natal "will be the largest leap of TV experience since the remote control." During an appearance on the Streaming Media West show, Whitten pondered the possibilities of Natal as an input device with the television (measuring things from laughing/yelling at the TV to how many people are in the room) to make it a more interactive experience. DonateGames.org wants you to help fight against oprhan diseases (those that affect less than .05% of the population). The new game donating/buying service takes your used games (in exchange for tax-deductible receipts) and sells them on the site while putting all of the proceeds towards helping children with rare diseases. The business model is a bit different from other game-related charities, but the emphasis is still on the children. Besides, do you really need that $2.37 Gamestop is offering you for those five trade-ins? [Kotaku]

Spike TV's Geoof Keighly has revealed, via Twitter, that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will premiere at the 2009 Video Game Awards. Previously, he tweeted that many more premiere announcements were planned for the week following Thanksgiving. With all of these premieres, the show will likely be a marathon game trailers session, complete with targeted commercials. [Twitter]
