Number 1 and 3. I felt really clever after #3. Then I saw Shrek and my world imploded.

You should have seen one of my discarded choices for pic #1. Instead of shredded paper it had shredded human flesh. Ouch!

That portable paper shredder kind of looks like a hair-straightening iron, but the other two clues should have given away the answer and end any confusion. #9 was one of the easy ones!

There's a Darth Maul zombie in Dead Rising?

It was more a play on words.  "Mall zombie."  Get it?

This was a tough puzzler. Bitmob's Jay Henningsen got 6 of these right, Ryan Perez got 5, and James DeRosa got 0. Now I understand why suicide rate peaks during the summer.
