The NES PC May Cause Geekgasms
Mikeminotti-biopic

The Nintendo Entertainment System was known as the Famicom in Japan, which stood for "Family Computer." Personally, when I was a kid, I never associated the NES with computers. Those were boring, bulky things that adults used for work. Perhaps I would have warmed up to the PC a lot faster if one looked like my favorite gaming system.

Well, modder Wes Miser has done just that. His NES PC not only looks cool but is also cleverly designed. I mean, he hides the hard drive in a Legend of Zelda cartridge! How cool is that?

Dear God. He is a god among nerds. I don't think I blinked a single time during that entire video. Holy.....I just am so amazed with what I just saw. There was over 800 NES games at his fingertips!!! Gaming's glory days in a NES shell...Amazing. I want one, now. Like, right now....No, scratch that, I want an SNES one. I wanted it yesterday. Jeez, I wonder how much money that all cost him?

Ok, I am going to stop gushing now.

"So, for all those people who made Nintendo what it is, this is my way of saying...

I pirated most of the NES library and put it into a bottlenecked proprietary system that will inevitably fail beyond repair within the next two years or so."

Eh.  It's still pretty badass!
