It looks like it might be a while before we see a Scribblenauts sequel.

News Blips:

5th Cell, the makers of Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life for the Nintendo DS, are working on an original XBLA title. Though we're still a ways off before any concrete announcement is made, it's good to see the developer isn't resting on its laurels. Any fans out there wanna make a homebrew Scribblenauts sequel to fix the controls? [Destructoid]

Carnage is coming to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. He's not gonna be some Spider-Man knockoff either -- Vicarious Visions lead animator Adam Olshan made sure to make the symbiont a quick character who cuts "people up quickly and messily." Hell yeah -- take it to the max! [Kotaku]

What are you doing this Sunday? Wanna go play DJ Hero? Activision will be demoing the game this Sunday, Oct. 11th, at all GameStop locations from 10:00am-6:00pm. We hear there will be prizes and a grand prize opportunity to meet Eminem and watch him perform in New Orleans. What a great excuse to put some pants on and get out of the house. [Joystiq]

New details are coming out on the merchandising of the ever-expanding world of Halo. New books, direct-to-video DVDs, comics, a new video game, and more are all on the way. The new game, Halo: Reach is to be a prequel to the first Halo game. This is a smart move, considering most companies like making money. [Evil Avatar]

What is it with companies wanting to make money? For once I would like to see a company that's bottom line is bankruptcy! ;D

@Lance. You're right. More companies should emphasize the value of not making money...or games for that matter.
