Intern Mike Minotti here, filling in on today's News Blips. There is no job I can't do on Bitmob. As long as it doesn't involve Web design.

News Blips:

Dragon Quest 9 coming stateside July 11. The wait for one of Japan's biggest games will soon be over. It seems like a long, long time ago since this game was announced for the Nintendo DS, shocking gamers everywhere. Now that over four million copies sold have been sold in Japan, the U.S. will finally get to see what all the fuss is about. Maybe this will be the game that finally gets Dragon Quest fever to strike Americans. [Kotaku]

Halo: Reach beta extended an extra day. The Halo: Reach beta was supposed to end on May 19. Yes, that's today -- but don't panic yet. Bungie told Joystiq that the beta will now be ending on May 20 at 10 a.m. PST. That'll give all of you Spartans a little extra jetpack time.

Puzzle Quest 2 being released on PC, iPod, and iPad. We already knew about DS and Xbox 360 versions of Puzzle Quest 2, but Namco has announced that the game will also see release on the PC, iPod, and iPad. The PC release is scheduled for a very vague summer release, with the iPod and iPad versions given an even vaguer "later this year." [Shacknews]

World of Warcraft's auction house goes mobile. The World of Warcraft Armory -- which allows WoW players to use the WoW auction house outside of the game -- has gone beta and is now available for the iPhone and iPhone. The app will be free during the beta. A Web version the remote auction house is also in beta. [WoW]
