Pixel Revolt: Episode 19 Community Question Reminder

Pixel_Revolt_LogoHello again, Bitmobbers! After finally remembering to drop contact details during the podcast last week, we've gotten a few responses from you. But we're greedy: we need more. So send on over your email and audio responses by 6 p.m. PST on Thursday for inclusion in the next episode!

This week's question asks you to visit a dark place of your soul:

What is the last video game you eagerly anticipated but ended up disappointing you?

We didn't get any audio responses in time for recording last week, so make sure to get them in ASAP. Don't delay -- do it now!

How you can respond to the question:

1) Record a sound clip on your computer, upload it to Houndbite.com, and then send us an email at PixelRevoltDL@gmail.com (Preferred)

2) Email your answer to PixelRevoltDL@gmail.com

Spore - The creature creator was great, but the game was nothing like what I had hoped for; I want my SimEverything :(

The last game that did this for me was White Knight Chronicles. The story of it just irked me in a manner that should not be done.

Star Trek Legacy -- I such a hard time understanding the controls (and no real manual or in-game support for the PC) that I barely touched it. I need a, sigh, 360 controller to play it. Absurd! A starship sim should run fine from a keyboard.

Fallout 3. I was hoping for a perfect marriage of first-person shooter and RPG, but got an RPG with terrible shooting. The VATS system, while interesting and cool the first couple times I used it, began to just take me out of the game by it's fifth use. As in all Bethesda RPG's, the NPC's lacked personality (or, you know, movement.)

Thankfully, Borderlands came along and was everything I wanted Fallout 3 to be.

It really stinks, because with all the DLC support and accolades, it makes me feel like I missed out on something.

The Conduit. still haven't beaten campaign.
